For women, sex may be more beneficial because the female hormone increases, reducing risk of heart disease which is the leading cause of death for women in the United States.

As for Stress, the relaxation and calmness after intercourse is relieving, if only temporarily. There is typically an increased quality of sleep as well.

Relationship quality can increase due to sex. If sex is good, people are more likely to feel content with the relationship. The intimacy and trust building helps create a strong relationship. People will tend to feel more comfortable with their significant other which will help them to balance a relationship.

All of these things help to reduce physiological and psychological stress that one may have, which leads to s a longer, healthier, and happier life!
